Step One: Settling In

The first few minutes are all about comfort. I introduce myself to your kids, chat a little, and give them time to get used to me. I never rush into posing or snapping photos immediately. Instead, I focus on helping everyone feel at ease so your family’s natural dynamic can shine through.

Step Two: Playful Prompts

Once everyone is comfortable, I’ll guide you into playful, simple interactions. Instead of saying, “Smile at the camera,” I’ll ask you to hold hands, walk together, or share a silly secret. These small prompts create authentic laughter and real connection, which always photograph beautifully.

Step Three: Following the Flow

Kids have their own rhythms, and I lean into that. If your toddler wants to run, I’ll capture it. If your child wants to snuggle up to you, we’ll go with that too. I never expect kids to perform; instead, I work with whatever they bring to the session.

Step Four: Capturing the Quiet

It’s not all about energy and movement. I also watch for soft, quiet moments—like when your little one reaches for your hand or when you and your partner exchange a knowing smile. These are often the images families treasure most.
